The Role
You will provide commercially focused financial support and strategic business partnering to site operational teams including:
* Partnering closely with site operational leaders to provide financial and commercial support, to understand cost drivers and operational performance
* Supporting budgeting, forecasting, reporting and operational analysis processes.
* Preparing journals, accruals, reconciliations and supporting working papers to deliver month-end.
* Maintain key financial models (stockpile, mine development, amortisation) with a strong understanding of drivers.
* Delivering financial analysis and insights to support operational and strategic decision-making.
* Supporting capital expenditure requests, fixed asset management and finance transformation initiatives.
* Preparation of the reporting and compliance with State and Private royalties for the relevant operations.
* Building strong relationships with site teams through regular monthly travel and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, with CA/CPA qualification.
* Previous experience within mining and/or ASX-listed business environments.
* Strong management accounting, financial analysis and advanced Excel capability.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and business partnering skills.
* The ability to undertake regular monthly site travel and work collaboratively within a high-performing finance team.
* A current West Australian C Class driver's licence and the ability to obtain a National Police Clearance for site access clearance.
