About the Role:
As a Content Specialist, you will be the creative force behind our weblog and social media presence. This role blends storytelling, visual creativity, and technical skills — from writing insightful articles and capturing compelling photos to shooting and editing engaging videos. You will also interview industry figures, craft stories that resonate with our audience, and manage the publication of content through WordPress. Your work will shape our brand's voice across platforms, requiring a hands-on approach to content creation, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
* Manage and update the company weblog, ensuring consistent publishing of high-quality articles.
* Conducting interviews with clients or prospects and generating video content for social media.
* Write original, compelling articles and blog posts aligned with our brand voice.
* Plan, shoot, and edit videos for the weblog and social media platforms.
* Conduct interviews with individuals relevant to our industry, transforming them into engaging content.
* Capture and edit photos for use across digital platforms.
* Develop and schedule content for social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
* Ensure all content is SEO-friendly and aligns with current trends and audience preferences.
* Maintain and update the company's WordPress website, including basic troubleshooting and plugin management.
* Collaborate closely with the marketing team to support campaigns and promotional initiatives.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in content creation (writing, photography, videography, editing).
* Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
* Skilled in photo editing tools (e.g., Lightroom, Photoshop).
* Strong interviewing and storytelling skills.
* Experience with WordPress CMS (including content uploading, SEO optimization, and basic theme/plugin management).
* Familiarity with social media platforms and content scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
* Basic understanding of SEO best practices.
* Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
