This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the coordination of student placements across a diverse range of health science disciplines, supporting the next generation of allied health professionals.You will apply your strong administrative and organisational skills to plan, coordinate, and manage student placements with a wide network of health and community-based partners, ensuring high-quality learning experiences in real-world health settings.Your key responsibilities will be to:negotiate, source, and coordinate student placements across Health Sciences programs and units of study, ensuring alignment with academic requirements and partner capacitybuild and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including academic staff, clinical educators, health service providers, and community health partnerssupport academic staff in the delivery and coordination of health sciences placement programs, ensuring smooth operation and positive student outcomesuse placement management systems (including Sonia) to accurately process, track, and monitor Health Sciences student placementsprovide responsive, high-quality support to students and placement providers across health sciences disciplines, ensuring a positive and professional experienceAbout youstrong administration experience, ideally within tertiary education or health/health sciences environmentsexcellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, collaborative approachstrong problem-solving skills with initiative and sound judgement in dynamic health placement settingsexcellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlineshigh attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality outcomes in student placement coordinationSponsorship / work rights for AustraliaYou must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to be eligible to apply.
