Overview
Permanent base in Port Hedland with housing allowance – THIS IS NOT A FIFO ROLE.
Responsibilities
* Diagnostics and troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
* Perform major and minor services on earthmoving equipment.
* Conduct maintenance and component replacements.
* Fabricate and build new machines as required.
* Complete service reporting and maintain manufacturer documentation.
* Expand and maintain customer relationships in the field and deal directly with key customers.
* Adhere to safety guidelines in the workplace.
Qualifications
* Trade qualification in diesel or mobile plant mechanics.
* Strong diagnostic and fault‐finding skills.
* Flexibility to travel to customer sites and work overtime as required.
* Current driver's licence.
* Forklift and air conditioning accreditation (advantageous).
* Basic Word and Excel proficiency.
* Commitment to maintain and adhere to safety guidelines.
