About the Position
Petstock Gordonvale is looking for a Retail Sales Associate to deliver outstanding customer service, achieve sales targets, and maintain store presentation.
Responsibilities
* Provide exceptional customer service where you and your customer will have memorable, meaningful interactions
* Inspire and educate customers on the best care and products for their pets
* Complete memorable sales transactions, aiming to reach set store sales goals
* Maintain a consistently high standard of store presentation while ensuring that new stock is promptly and accurately displayed whilst also ensuring we are replenishing our stock
* Demonstrate initiative by actively keeping your knowledge up to date on pet care, products, and services current
* Contribute to a fun, supportive culture in store where the team loves coming to work each and every day
* Strong safety mindset with commitment to create a culture of safety within your team
Qualifications
* Passion for animals and providing the best customer service
* Experience in a similar retail environment
* Demonstrated drive to achieve and exceed sales target
* Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships and rapport with customers and the team
* Physically fit, with ability to lift products up to 20kg
* Flexibility and ability to work weekends and public holidays
