Ideal candidates possess deep knowledge of NSW Government Sector finance legislation, directions, and policies, alongside a strong command of Australian Accounting Standards.
* With a proven track record in delivering high-quality financial reports, budgets, and project performance insights, you are confident operating in environments with complex cashflow requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare monthly journals, internal and external reporting packs, manage stakeholder queries, review reconciliations, and oversee general ledger integrity.
* Develop accounting policies, manage compliance with professional and statutory standards, enhance financial systems and controls, and foster strong, collaborative relationships.
