Barista - Flinders Lane, Chadstone & Myer
Brunetti Oro is seeking an experienced Barista's to join our friendly, dedicated, team.
Serious about coffee, our Barista team receives accredited Barista training and ongoing mentorship from our coffee partners Lavazza, giving you a professional edge while working in a dynamic and professional environment.
As Barista you are required to provide a consistent, high-level quality coffee experience.
You should have a minimum of 1 years experience and have the ability to provide superior levels of customer service.
The successful applicant must:
* Be fast on the machine, yet not willing to compromise on quality (Barista)
* Be confident and a strong communicator
* Adopt a hands-on approach, delivering superior levels of customer service and quality coffee in a fast-paced environment
* Work as part of a team, fostering a respectful, productive, and collegial working environment and culture
* Demonstrated coffee knowledge with experience dialing recipes and adjusting brewing parameters
* Experience working with volumetric is desirable
* Experience working with 2 La Cimbali coffee machines, Pugpress, Mazzer Robur S Grinder machines, and a Juggler tap system is desirable
* The ability to deliver and maintain a premium customer experience and a premium product - coffee
Service Staff - Flinders Lane, Chadstone Market Pavilion, Myer
Aa a Service Staff member you will be responsible for providing a premium customer service experience, demonstrating a hands-on, pro-active approach in delivering superior levels of customer service in a fast paced lively environment. You will be confident, with excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport. You will understand the important contribution quality service plays in the customer experience and strive to maintain the Brunetti Oro quality standard.
As service staff you build a knowledge of the Brunetti Or product offering and menu allowing for the ability to make the best customer recommendations to deliver on expectations. You shall also play a role in monitoring product quality prior to customer delivery.
The successful applicant must:
* Deliver a premium customer experience thought the delivery of high-level customer service
* Demonstrate superior communication skills with the ability to build rapport
* Ensure accuracy in the operation of point-of-sale systems (processing orders, billing, returns)
* Ensure honesty and accuracy in cash handling
* Build a knowledge base of Brunetti Oro products and menu to ensure appropriate customer recommendations
* Assist with venue set-up and close as/if necessary
* Work as part of a team, fostering a respectful, productive, and collegial working environment and culture
Team Leaders
Brunetti Oro are seeking proactive and impactful Team Leaders at both Chadstone Market Pavilion and Flinders Lane:
The primary purpose of the team leader position is to ensure the Brunetti Oro store operates effectively, profitably and successfully, thought effective leadership and management of your designated team (Bar or Pastry). The Team Leader (with the team Supervisor) is required to nurture, and maintain, a high performing team via a work culture based on professionalism, passion, and respect. A culture focused on providing exceptional quality and premium customer service, maintaining the Brunetti Oro 1956 reputation, ethos and heritage.
The Team Leader will assist the team Supervisor and Venue Manager in providing leadership and in ensuring consistent delivery of the 'Brunetti Oro Experience'.
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:
* Effective leadership demonstrated through previous experience in hospitality and of managing a successful team.
* Experience of hospitality industry management.
* An understanding of the importance customer service plays in the delivery of a premium customer service experience
* An understanding of what high-level customer service entails and leading your team by example to demonstrate customer service and performance expectation
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with customers and colleagues
* The ability to build and maintain productive working relationships, and teams, thought the provision of clear, effective communication and expectation, coaching and mentorship, leading by example and being seen as a reliable source of knowledge and of confidentiality
* The ability to embed and maintain a respectful, professional, productive, and fun work culture that promotes loyalty and staff retention.
* Attention to detail and organizational skills
* Energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for excellence and hospitality
* Desirable - experience with rostering (to assist if only required the team supervisor)
