We’re currently supporting a large, well-established organisation as they deliver their first customer-facing Generative AI chatbot – a major step in their digital and AI journey. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in building a production-grade conversational AI solution, designed to act as a front door for customer interactions across web and digital channels. What you’ll be doing: Designing and building conversational AI chatbots using modern GenAI techniques Working with LLMs, prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to deliver accurate, grounded responses Integrating chatbot functionality with enterprise systems, APIs, and data sources Implementing safe, secure, and compliant AI patterns (including guardrails, content filtering, and PII handling) Designing conversational flows and customer journeys, including handoff to human agents when required Monitoring chatbot performance and continuously improving response quality and user experience What we’re looking for: Proven experience building customer-facing chatbots or conversational AI solutions Hands-on experience with Generative AI / LLMs, including prompt design and orchestration Strong understanding of RAG architectures and grounding AI responses in trusted data Experience integrating with APIs, backend systems, or CRM platforms Awareness of AI safety, security, and risk considerations in production environments Ideally exposure to Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure, or the broader Microsoft ecosystem Why this role: Greenfield AI initiative with real customer impact Opportunity to shape how AI is used in a large enterprise environment Strong focus on building safe, scalable, and production-ready AI solutions High-visibility program with long-term potential Please apply or email your CV to Aimee Thompson at athompson@launchrecruitment.com.au
