Job Title: Production Site Manager
About the Role:
In this critical position, you will oversee day-to-day operations at a production site. Reporting to the Production Director, you will ensure seamless operational performance, team leadership, and alignment with strategic objectives across safety, production, financial management, and stakeholder engagement.
Main Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
1. Leadership & Strategy: Champion and embed organizational mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities.
2. Develop Performance Objectives: Align with regional operational plans and recommend initiatives to improve operations and meet strategic targets.
3. Operational & Financial Management: Manage site operations within defined operational cost targets, maintain production efficiency, stock control, and quality standards, and implement corrective actions when performance varies beyond expectations.
4. Customer & Supplier Engagement: Oversee chip production, storage, and transport to meet customer requirements, monitor the value chain to ensure alignment with supplier capabilities and customer needs, and ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (COR) obligations and contractor performance.
5. Process & Compliance Oversight: Coordinate day-to-day activities to ensure logs are received, processed, and stored as per plan, ensure equipment is maintained and safe for use in collaboration with Maintenance, manage inventory, quality checks, and participate in audit programs, and close out incidents and audit outcomes promptly and thoroughly.
6. People Leadership & Culture: Lead a culture of safety, performance, and accountability, manage recruitment, training, induction, and development of site staff, ensure compliance with industrial relations and safety legislation, and promote a high-integrity, safety-first working environment.
