Seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Health Information Service Clerk.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date health records, ensuring efficient service to internal departments and external organisations. Key tasks include accurately scanning health record documents, preparing and verifying documents for scanning, performing quality activities on scanned documents, correcting identified anomalies in the Scanned Health Record System (SHRS), responding to enquiries, updating and maintaining databases, filing and culling of health records, and maintaining health record tracking systems.
The Position Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require excellent communication and customer service skills, strong organisational skills, and attention to detail. Proficiency in using email, web-based applications, Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) is also necessary. Experience using Web Patient Administration System (webPAS) and/or a Scanned Medical Record is desirable.
