This is full-time permanent role are based at our state of art Motorcycle Dealership in Mayfield West.
This is an exciting opportunity for a reliable enthusiastic and focused Motorcycle Detailer/General Hand with an eye for detail and a passion for Motorcycles to develop their career with an employer of choice.
This role plays an important part in providing a high-quality service to our customers preparing and ensuring all motorcycles are washed/polished/detailed and immaculately presented to customers & for the sales showrooms in a prompt and timely manner.
As a General Hand, you will also collect and deliver Motorcycles in and around the Newcastle area.
You will also assist the Sales, Service and Parts Team in a range of other duties learning all about the daily operations of a busy Motorcycle Dealership.
This is an ideal role for someone who is passionate about Motorcycles & enjoys being "hands on", physically fit as daily manual handling is a requirement of this role, has a strong work ethic with keen attention to detail, enjoys rolling up your sleeves and keeping busy, has a positive "Can Do" attitude & a willingness to learn & develop a career within the Motorcycle industry.

General Daily Duties includes:
Ensuring all motorcycles are washed, polished & detailed in a prompt manner to the highest standards on a daily basis.
Assisting Sales, Service and Parts departments with duties from Goods in, parts picking, assisting with the pre-delivery of motorcycles.
Unload and checking new Motorcycles on arrival.
Forklift driving, offloading of crated motorcycles.
Van driving, making local deliveries & collections of motorcycles & parts.
General housekeeping duties ensuring the dealership spotless presentation.
Maintaining the cleanliness of the Motorcycle washing/detailing area.
Various other duties assisting Dealership management team.
Skills & experience we are looking for:
Previous General Hand - Detailing experience is high desirable.
A passion for Motorcycles, you take pride in your daily duties.
Keen eye for details, especially when cleaning motorcycles, you treat them as your own.
Well versed in manual handling techniques) Lifting, pushing/pulling etc)
Vibrant, outgoing with a Can-Do attitude.
Ability to undertake daily manual handling tasks
Confidence in moving & pushing motorcycles around.
A Team player, punctual and reliable with good communication skills.
Current Motorcycle License and Car drivers licence.
Forklift licence (LF).
Strong work ethic & attention to detail.
Ability to follow direction and work to time schedules.
Ability to be proactive, work unsupervised and use own initiative.
Fluent written & spoken English (Full AUS work rights).
