As a Consultant General Physician, you will provide specialist medical services across inpatient, outpatient and consultative settings, supporting the delivery of high‐quality, patient‐centred care to the Gippsland community.
You will work closely with a collaborative team of Physicians, Junior Medical Officers, Nursing staff and Allied Health professionals to manage a broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing specialist General and Internal Medicine services
* Conducting inpatient ward rounds and outpatient clinics
* Delivering consultative services across the hospital
* Participating in multidisciplinary care planning
* Supervising and mentoring junior medical staff and physician trainees
* Contributing to clinical governance, quality improvement and service development
* Participating in teaching, education and continuing professional development activities
* Supporting regional outreach and integrated models of care where appropriate
