We currently have an opportunity for a Quality & Compliance Manager. Join our Government and Infrastructure Management team to support the governance, assurance, and continual improvement of quality, GMP, EHS and compliance systems within a pharmaceutical / highly regulated operating environment. Reporting to the Senior Facility Manager, you'll work alongside a diverse group of professionals to create safe, compliant and high‐quality outcomes that support critical operations.
What You'll Do
This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
* Own and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) for the contract, ensuring alignment to client GMP requirements, regulatory expectations and Downer standards.
* Ensure all IFM activities comply with GMP, EHS, Zero Harm, statutory and contractual obligations.
* Plan, coordinate and support internal audits, client audits, regulatory inspections and supplier audits.
* Manage deviations, non-conformances and quality events impacting IFM services.
* Ensure role based GMP, EHS and compliance training for all Downer staff and subcontractors is current, effective and documented.
What You'll Bring
* Extensive experience in a pharmaceutical, GMP, life sciences or comparably regulated environment.
* Demonstrated experience in quality systems, compliance auditing, deviation management and CAPA.
* Experience working with large onsite operational teams and subcontractors.
* Strong understanding of GMP, EHS and regulatory (TGA, OGTR) expectations in facilities or technical services.
* Ability to build effective relationships with Client Quality, Operations and Engineering stakeholders.
