About the Role
Reporting to the Senior Projects Manager, the Warehouse Operations Coordinator will play a key role in supporting warehouse operations, engineering projects, assembly activities and the day-to-day movement of materials throughout our automated food production and manufacturing facility.
This is a highly hands-on position. We are looking for someone who enjoys being on the warehouse floor, operating forklifts, receiving and moving materials, supporting projects and working closely with multiple teams across the business.
You will be responsible for ensuring parts, consumables, equipment and materials are accurately received, stored, tracked and delivered where they are needed. You\'ll work closely with Engineering, Assembly, Operations and Maintenance teams to help keep projects moving and ensure the facility operates efficiently.
Success in this role requires someone who takes ownership, sees what needs to be done and gets it done. We are looking for a proactive individual who can balance physical warehouse work with inventory management and ERP systems while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
As one of the first people visitors, contractors and suppliers interact with, you\'ll also be a friendly, approachable and professional representative of Stacked Farm.
What You\'ll Do
Safely and confidently operate forklifts to move materials, equipment and inventory throughout the facility.
Receive, inspect and accurately process incoming deliveries.
Load and unload trucks, containers and deliveries.
Pick, pack and distribute parts, consumables and materials to support production, assembly and engineering activities.
Maintain accurate inventory records and stock movements within ERP and inventory management systems.
Conduct regular stocktakes, cycle counts and inventory reconciliations.
Coordinate the storage and organisation of warehouse inventory and project materials.
Support Engineering and Project teams with material handling and logistics requirements.
Monitor stock levels and proactively identify replenishment requirements.
Maintain warehouse housekeeping standards across both indoor and outdoor storage areas.
Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Assist with site projects, equipment movements and operational support activities as required.
Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, organisation and material flow.
Ensure all warehouse activities comply with workplace health and safety requirements and company procedures.
Take ownership of tasks and proactively support the wider team wherever required.
About You
You're someone who naturally takes initiative and doesn't wait to be told what to do.
You enjoy hands-on work and take pride in maintaining an organised and efficient warehouse.
You're confident operating forklifts and have substantial practical experience in warehouse or industrial environments.
You're comfortable using ERP systems, inventory software and technology and can quickly learn new systems.
You can move seamlessly between physical warehouse work and computer-based inventory management.
You're highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
You're approachable, professional and enjoy working with people across different teams.
You communicate effectively and build strong working relationships.
You're a practical problem solver who can think independently and find solutions.
You thrive in fast-paced environments and adapt well to changing priorities.
You have a strong commitment to safety and maintaining high workplace standards.
What You'll Bring
Minimum 3 years' experience in warehouse operations, logistics, stores or materials handling.
Current Forklift Licence (LF) essential.
Demonstrated experience operating forklifts in manufacturing, industrial, warehouse or production environments.
Strong computer skills and experience using ERP, warehouse management or inventory control systems.
Proven experience managing inventory transactions, stock movements and inventory accuracy.
Experience supporting engineering, assembly, manufacturing or project-based operations highly regarded.
Current EWP licence highly desirable.
Strong understanding of warehouse safety, inventory control and materials management principles.
Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with multiple teams.
A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to contribute wherever needed.
