We are committed to providing extraordinary opportunities for career development including in-house training, development and mentoring programs.RequirementsMandatory possession of a Certificate IV in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care or Diploma of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care.If you do not hold the relevant qualification but believe you have the ability to perform the role, there is an opportunity you may be appointed at the 'No Qualification level ( NQ)\" for a fixed term, subject to engaging and participating in a learning agreement to obtain the required qualification(s) with essential level support under HR Policy G10 Study and Research Assistance Scheme (SARAS) or the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workforce Education Scheme.To perform this role, it is essential that the person who holds the position be an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person. It is therefore a genuine occupational requirement under section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 that applicants are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islanders.Applicants are advised this position works in an identified Aged Care Facility as per the Aged Care Act 1997 and therefore requires employees and volunteers to have a current National Police Certificate.
