$120,000 – $140,000 + super + performance upside

The Opportunity

We're looking for someone to take ownership of the entire marketing function and help build the marketing engine behind a future $100M+ national home services brand.

This is not a corporate marketing role.

This is a hands-on growth role for someone who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves, getting into the numbers, solving problems and building systems.

You'll work directly with the founder, take ownership of marketing performance and help build the team, systems and infrastructure required to support national expansion.


About Us

At Same Day Trades, our purpose is simple: to empower our people so we can give Australian homeowners peace of mind through same-day, friendly and professional home services.

We operate across Adelaide and Perth, with Brisbane next, followed by Melbourne and Sydney.

Our head office is located in Royal Park, South Australia, where this role will be based.

Today:

Revenue is approximately $15M–$20M annually

Marketing investment is approximately $2M annually

Lead generation is approximately 10,000 leads annually

Over the next 5-7 years our goal is to:

* Grow lead generation to 100,000+ leads annually
* Scale marketing investment to $10M+ annually
* Continue expanding nationally

This is a brand-new role.

Up until now, the founder has personally led the entire marketing function alongside external agencies. We are now looking for someone to take ownership of that responsibility and help build a world-class internal marketing department.


The Role

You'll be responsible for driving marketing performance across the business.

Initially, you'll be heavily involved across all areas of marketing. Over time, you'll build and lead an internal marketing team consisting of local Australian specialists and offshore Philippine support team members.

You'll be expected to wear multiple hats, adapt quickly, solve problems and continually improve marketing performance.

Google Ads is one of the largest lead sources in the business and strong Google Ads capability is essential.

If required, you should be capable of stepping in and taking ownership of our Google Ads function from day one.


Key Responsibilities

* Drive lead generation and marketing performance across all major channels
* Manage and optimise Google Ads campaigns, landing pages and conversion performance
* Manage and oversee SEO and Google Business Profile growth
* Manage website, website performance and conversion improvements
* Coordinate videographers, social media, email and SMS marketing campaigns
* Manage offline marketing including flyers, magnets, direct mail and future radio/TV campaigns
* Build marketing systems, SOPs, reporting dashboards and campaign processes
* Track KPIs including lead volume, cost per lead, ROI and channel performance
* Work closely with branding and creative partners
* Recruit, develop and lead both local and offshore marketing team members


What Success Looks Like

Over the next 5-7 years, you'll help:

* Grow lead generation from approximately 10,000 to 100,000+ leads annually
* Scale marketing investment from approximately $2M to $10M+ annually while maintaining strong ROI
* Build an internal marketing team consisting of local Australian specialists and offshore Philippine support team members
* Reduce reliance on external agencies by building internal capability
* Support expansion into Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney
* Build one of Australia's leading home services marketing engines


What We're Looking For

We care far more about attitude, ownership, leadership potential and drive than job titles.

You do not need previous Head of Marketing experience to apply.

This role is ideal for someone ready to step into a bigger opportunity and take ownership of something significant.

Ideally, you'll bring:

* 3+ years experience managing and optimising Google Ads/PPC/ Lead Page campaigns
* Strong lead generation and conversion optimisation experience
* Experience with SEO and landing pages
* Strong analytical and reporting capability
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* A hands-on, problem-solving mindset
* A strong ownership mentality
* A desire to build, lead and grow
* An adaptable mindset that is prepared to learn our other forms of marketing
* Home services experience is highly regarded but not essential.
