What you will do
You'll provide care and companionship to residents and deliver innovative leisure and lifestyle activities that are tailored to the residents' needs, interests and capabilities.
* Lead, guide and direct the staff with the planning of the program of activities, liaising with team members, residents and carers.
* Ensure all residents can participate in an activity program of interest and that they can achieve the desired outcomes.
* Confirm the activities program with the Manager, including residents involved, timetable and resources.
* Complete evaluation of activities, daily participation sheets and other paperwork to reflect continuous improvement.
* Develop activities that account for previous interests and current capabilities to enhance quality of life through residents' interests and hobbies.
What you bring
* Ideally, previous experience in aged/community care or Lifestyle programs in Aged Care; if you're qualified and just starting out, we'd love to hear from you too.
* Be resilient and resourceful, and live our values of compassion, respect, imagination, and boldness.
* Certificate IV in Leisure & Lifestyle or equivalent qualifications or demonstrated competency in the knowledge required for this role.
