Are you analytical, detail-oriented and interested in learning how regulatory obligations, risk frameworks and governance processes operate in an ASX-listed financial services organisation? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you as a Risk Analyst on a full-time, 6-month contract.
As a Risk Analyst, you will support the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of Fiducian's risk management and compliance frameworks. Working closely with the Chief Risk Officer and key stakeholders across the business, this role provides valuable exposure to regulatory obligations, internal audit actions, business continuity planning, risk registers, compliance training and governance reporting.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with reviewing and assessing compliance obligations, including obligations sourced from LexisNexis.
* Support the allocation and tracking of compliance obligations to relevant business owners.
* Assist with reviewing internal audit findings and monitoring agreed actions.
* Maintain and update key risk documents, including the Risk Register, Business Continuity Plan and Risk Management Strategy.
* Support risk reporting, audit materials and documentation for management and governance forums.
* Assist with the rollout and coordination of online risk and compliance training.
* Engage with stakeholders to promote awareness of risk and compliance obligations.
* Support the identification and documentation of operational, compliance and business risks.
Qualifications and Skills
* Tertiary qualification in Risk Management, Business, Finance, Law or a related discipline.
* Some experience or exposure to risk, compliance, governance or financial services is desirable.
* Robust analytical skills and high attention to detail.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively with stakeholders.
* Proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach.
* Interest in financial services, governance, risk and regulatory compliance.
