ATCO Structures & Logistics is a global leader in modular design, manufacturing and construction. Our Australian operations continue to grow, and we're looking for an experienced Senior Manufacturing Administrator to support our Manufacturing Coordinator and lead our administration team at our Luscombe head office.
This is a key role in the smooth running of our production workflow. You'll oversee administrative processes across multiple builds, support purchasing and stock functions, coordinate with subcontractors and internal branches, and provide day-to-day leadership to our Manufacturing Administration team. If you're highly organised, confident making decisions, and enjoy improving processes while keeping people on track, this role will suit you perfectly.
About the Role
In this senior position, you'll be the right hand to the Manufacturing Coordinator and the go-to support for the broader manufacturing team. Your strong understanding of operational administration, ability to manage competing priorities, and natural leadership style will help keep projects moving quickly and accurately.
You'll also play a critical role in coaching, developing and guiding the administration team — stepping up as 2IC whenever required.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor and develop the Manufacturing Administration team
* Act as 2IC in the Manufacturing Coordinator's absence
* Receive, process and return Production Authority packages from internal branches
* Complete material take-offs and create purchasing lists for each build
* Maintain Production Authority Registers and keep floor plans/drawings updated within Donesafe
* Manage subcontractor administration, ensuring insurances are current and correctly filed
* Track and process internal stock transfers between manufacturing facilities
* Coordinate transport for completed hire buildings
* Review and approve purchasing and financial documentation completed by the admin team
* Complete monthly stocktakes and support continuous improvement across the department
What You'll Bring
* Previous experience in a supervisory or senior admin role within manufacturing, construction or a related operational environment
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy, shifting workload
* Confident communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally
* Demonstrated leadership capability — coaching, supporting and developing your team
* High attention to detail and pride in accurate, thorough administrative work
* Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, with the ability to learn systems quickly
* Experience with Databuild or Oracle (desirable)
Why Join ATCO?
* Stable, permanent full-time position with a global industry leader.
* Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
* Collaborative and values-driven team culture.
* Ongoing training and development opportunities.
