to recruit a driven and experienced
Tax Specialist
to join their growing advisory division. This is an opportunity to step into a role that combines technical depth, genuine client impact, and a culture that puts its people first.
About the Company
Our client is a
respected mid-tier accounting and advisory firm
known for their collaborative culture and strong investment in staff development. They pride themselves on building long-term relationships — with clients and internally — and have a track record of developing their people into trusted advisors.
They offer:
* Hybrid working arrangements
(3 days from home)
* Bi-annual salary reviews
and structured career pathways
* Ongoing
professional development and mentoring
* A supportive, modern environment with a genuine team focus
This is a firm that believes great advice comes from empowered people — and they're serious about helping their team reach their potential.
About the Role
Working closely with the Directors and broader business services team, the
Tax Specialist
will play a key role in delivering high-quality tax advisory and compliance outcomes for a diverse portfolio of clients.
You'll be involved in:
* Providing
specialist tax advice
on complex structures and transactions
* Managing tax consulting and business advisory engagements end-to-end
* Reviewing work prepared by others and mentoring junior team members
* Preparing and reviewing complex tax reconciliations and returns
* Identifying opportunities for clients and helping shape their business strategies
* Staying across legislative changes and contributing to firm-wide tax knowledge
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the technical side of tax but also values collaboration, client interaction, and being part of a team that shares knowledge and celebrates growth.
About You
You're a
technically strong tax professional
who enjoys solving complex problems and providing meaningful advice. You've likely worked in public practice for several years and are now looking for a firm that values both your expertise and your development.
You'll ideally bring:
* 5+ years' experience
in a public practice environment
* CA/CPA qualification
(or close to completion)
* Advanced knowledge of taxation across multiple entity types and industries
* Experience mentoring or reviewing others' work
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset
Most importantly, you're someone who wants to
continue learning, growing, and contributing
to a supportive mid-tier environment that rewards initiative and expertise.
