Job Title: Technical Specialist
This is a key technical role within our Operations Team.
We are seeking a Technical Specialist to join our team providing solution design, configuration, installation, technical support, training and testing. Reporting to our Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering and supporting technical solutions within customer environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing software installation, configuration and support in the customer's environments for use in tests, training, exercises and actual operations.
* Designing, implementing and supporting technical solutions to meet customer requirements.
* Ensuring alignment, effective communication and coordination between stakeholders.
* Providing level 1 and 2 support to customers on software products, installation, integration with other software and equipment, and to end-users.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Preferably, you bring a degree in Computer Science or Engineering, and experience in software development technologies such as Java, C#, JavaScript. Furthermore, having experience with IT infrastructure and platforms such as Windows, Linux Android-based operating systems, Active Directory, database management systems and XMPP chat is highly valued.
If you bring knowledge within administrating and operating military command information systems, tactical radio devices and radio networks, and have an ITIL certification, it is desirable.
