Fixed-Term Full-Time appointment at 76 hours per fortnight, with the possibility of extension(s) covering a period of parental leave. Part‐time (job‐share arrangement) can be considered.

Qualifications
* Eligible for registration in the category of Registered Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
* Demonstrated understanding of nursing recruitment and retention programs and nursing workforce requirements.
* Knowledge of industrial relations and nursing recruitment processes in the public sector.
* High level of communication skills, including written reports, negotiation, facilitation and problem‐solving.
* Sound understanding of current issues in the public sector health system and culture concepts, including rural area service issues.
* High‐level computer skills including database management.
* Current knowledge of legislative obligations for Equal Opportunity, Disability Services and Occupational Safety and Health, and how these impact on employment and service delivery.
* Eligible for or in possession of a current C or C‐A Class drivers licence or other specialised licence class.
Position Profile
Develop innovative recruitment strategies and implement those endorsed through the Regional Executive Committee. Facilitate and lead the development and implementation of new workforce models across the region, including Nurse Practitioner roles, and provide high‐level support for recruitment, selection and allocation of nursing staff throughout WACHS – Midwest.
