Responsibilities
* Lead and oversee structural engineering projects, ensuring all deliverables meet high standards of quality and industry regulations.
* Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers, supporting their professional growth and development.
* Collaborate closely with cross‐functional teams, architects, and clients to design innovative, cost‐effective solutions.
* Support the delivery of multi‐disciplinary projects and assist in structural asset management and assessment activities.
* Advocate for a culture of creativity and innovation within the local team and foster an environment that encourages continuous improvement.
Qualifications
* Chartered Professional Engineer with a bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering.
* Significant, demonstrated experience in structural design for industrial, water, or energy market projects.
* Highly organised, with outstanding technical and communication skills.
* Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and a proven track record of leading and mentoring project teams.
* Collaborative working style with a willingness to bring together the best expertise from across disciplines.
* Commitment to continuous learning and career progression, including development of junior engineers.
* Deep industry knowledge, innovation, and thought leadership in the structural engineering field.
