Overview
We are looking for an experienced Legal Assistant / Legal Secretary to join our Telecommunications, Media & Technology (TMT) team on a 12‐month maximum term contract. The role includes providing high‐level support to Partner Katherine Gregor and senior lawyers, managing matters, billing, scheduling, and supporting business‐development initiatives.
Responsibilities
* Manage matters, time recording, billing, and cost reporting with accuracy.
* Support business development initiatives, client events and profile‐raising activities.
* Manage partner and team calendars and inboxes, prioritising and following up promptly.
* Coordinate internal and external meetings, adjusting arrangements as priorities change.
* Prepare, edit and manage documents using Microsoft Office and iManage.
* Organise travel and manage expense reconciliation.
* Champion technology and AI adoption to improve efficiency.
* Mentor and guide Administrative Assistants, providing day‐to‐day support and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications
* Experience in professional services; legal support experience is a bonus.
* Exposure to billing, invoicing and reporting.
* Strong time‐management skills and ability to juggle priorities.
* Experience with matter management and mentoring juniors.
* A positive, proactive approach and calm under pressure.
* Passion for helping the team grow client relationships.
* An innovative mindset and curiosity about AI and emerging technologies.
