Site Supervisor – Insurance Building

Role Overview
The Site Supervisor will oversee and coordinate insurance repair projects from initial assessment through to completion. The role requires strong technical knowledge, the ability to interpret detailed documentation, and the capability to manage trades and customer communication to ensure repairs are delivered to a high standard, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
* Project Coordination & Supervision
* Oversee all on-site aspects of insurance repair projects from commencement to completion.
* Arrange, schedule, and manage subcontractors and internal tradespeople to ensure timely and efficient delivery of works.
* Conduct material take-offs, order required materials, and manage site logistics to maintain smooth workflow.
* Complete quality audits to ensure all works meet company expectations, manufacturer specifications, and industry standards.
* Technical Interpretation
* Accurately read and interpret scopes of work, engineering details, construction plans, and insurer-issued documentation.
* Ensure all repairs are executed strictly in accordance with approved scopes, plans, and required building practices.
* Customer & Stakeholder Communication
* Provide clear and professional weekly updates to customers, maintaining transparency throughout the repair process.
* Foster strong, positive working relationships with clients, assessors, engineers, and internal stakeholders.
* Represent the company professionally, upholding our values and ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Site Safety & Compliance
* Ensure all works comply with WHS requirements and company safety procedures.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe job site at all times.
* Problem Solving & Reporting
* Identify and resolve issues quickly to maintain project momentum.
* Keep accurate and up-to-date site documentation, progress records, and cost information.
* Support a collaborative and positive working environment within the site and office teams.

What We're Looking For

* Minimum 5+ years' construction experience, ideally with insurance building exposure.
* Proven experience in supervising trades and managing projects.
* Strong knowledge of material take-offs, quantities, and ordering procedures.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to interpret construction plans, scopes, and engineering details.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
