About the role
Working across busy recycling facilities and heavy industrial environments, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Responsibilities
* Maintenance and repair of conveyors, shredders, crushers, balers, and processing equipment
* Mechanical fitting and assembly work
* Fault finding and breakdown repairs
* Preventative and scheduled maintenance
* Reading and interpreting technical and engineering drawings
* Working safely within heavy industrial and recycling plant environments
* General workshop and plant duties as required
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter within heavy industry, manufacturing, recycling, or processing plants
* Strong mechanical troubleshooting and fault-finding ability
* Experience working on conveyors, hydraulics, pumps, gearboxes, motors, and heavy machinery
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Strong commitment to workplace safety
* Reliable attitude with a solid work ethic
* Relevant trade qualifications highly regarded
