Reporting to the Business Unit Leader – Well Servicing, this position will:
* Ensure all works are executed in accordance with company and client Safety Management Plans (SMPs), policies, practices, procedures and statutory requirements.
* Coach and mentor personnel to develop and improve safe work cultures.
* Support the Assist and Assure program.
* Promptly respond to all reports of unsafe conditions, unsafe activities and unsafe equipment and take appropriate corrective action.
* Monitor the application of Safety Management systems in the field.
* Develop and conduct effective business relationships with key stakeholders and other internal and external organisations as required.
* Ensure currency of knowledge of the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) standards and training packages.
* Coordinate HSE training courses for all project personnel.
* Assist with the scheduling and organising of onsite and offsite training courses, through Registered Training Organisations.
* Assist in the development of the HSE and Emergency Management Plans, Policies, Procedures, and monthly reporting.
* Ensure training compliance to policies, business systems and other relevant safety or contractual obligations.
* Conduct internal and external audits and compile reports as per an agreed audit schedule.
* Coordinate and manage relevant systems and registers.
* Manage incident response and conduct incident investigations
* Be able to work a 14:14 roster
