About the role
Southern Adelaide Local Health Network – Outpatient Support Services – Corporate Services. As an Administrative Manager you report to the Senior Administration Manager and manage daily operations and provide administrative support services within the Outpatients Support Service.
Salary $79,432 – $83,266 (Pro Rata) ASO4.
Multiple 12‐month contracts available with potential to extend further or ongoing.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate implementation of initiatives, directions, new information systems or services endorsed by the Nurse Director, Outpatients Support Service.
* Ensure effective management of human, financial and physical assets through appropriate planning and allocation of resources to achieve agreed service and strategic plans.
* Prepare, monitor, report on and adhere to budget and resource allocations.
* Promote a proactive approach and culture of continuous review, improvement and planning of services, policies and programmes consistent with the requirements of Outpatient Support Services.
Qualifications and experience
* Ability to effectively interact with people from diverse backgrounds such as professional and non‐professional staff, external agencies and community members.
* Proven experience in working within a customer‐focused administrative area, preferably within a health setting.
* Demonstrated management and leadership skills, ability to coordinate/supervise administrative staff and to use/apply initiative and judgement.
* Understanding of contemporary management practices.
* Competent and confident using the Sunrise EMR program.
* Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and Immunisation compliance.
