PARTNERSHIPS LEAD

Full time position based in Collingwood, Melbourne.

About the role

We are seeking a Partnerships Lead to grow and manage our partnership portfolio, which consists of prominent arts, cultural and commercial clients. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about partnership sales and working within an independent news organisation to apply their outstanding commercial, implementation and relationship skills to a dynamic role.

The successful candidate will work with the National Sales and Partnerships Director to manage and maintain relationships, implement partnerships throughout their entire lifecycle, and develop new business opportunities and revenue growth within the partnerships portfolio.

What you will be doing:

* Managing relationships with existing and new partner clients
* Growing existing portfolio and seeking new partnership opportunities
* Implementing annual partnerships, working closely with clients and internal marketing teams to ensure all elements are delivered on time
* Researching, developing and sourcing new commercial sponsorship and partner relationships
* Being a passionate representative of our titles at meetings and client events
* Working with the team to ensure KPIs and revenue targets across the partnership program are achieved
* Managing accurate and timely record-keeping of partnership income, media schedules and contracts
* Managing our subscriber benefit program, including securing benefits from partner organisations and circulating offers to our subscribers
* Providing post-campaign reports to partners and internal stakeholders
* Analysing data to report outcomes to senior management
* Developing and overseeing event programs in consultation with commercial and editorial teams
* Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the Australian current affairs landscape

What we are looking for:

You will be a confident and empathetic communicator who can create and maintain positive relationships with partners, colleagues and our audience. You will have a great eye for detail and will be able to take ownership of tasks associated with partnerships and events across the year. You will have a background in sales, marketing, partnerships or publishing, with 2-5 years of professional experience.
