About the Role
We are currently seeking a part-time Physiotherapist to join our team in Busselton who is committed to making a difference in the lives of our deserving Residents. The role offers an opportunity to provide high quality, evidence‐based Physiotherapy services founded on our philosophy of resident‐centred holistic care.
In your day‐to‐day role you will be responsible for assessing the physical and psycho‐social functioning of Residents, working alongside them and those that are important to them, identifying their Physiotherapy goals, needs and preferences, and ensuring all parties are kept informed of the resident‐led, goal‐directed care planning within a multi‐skilled environment focused on reablement.
Physiotherapists understand how important good physical functioning and healthy aging are to people's sense of well‐being. You will be responsible for ensuring that high‐quality services are provided by the Therapy Team which meet the physical and psychosocial needs of our Residents.
Responsibilities
* Falls prevention, trending, analysis, management, and post‐fall review.
* Musculoskeletal assessment and management.
* Evidence‐based pain management (acute and chronic).
* Mobility assessment and intervention.
* Functional retraining and rehabilitation.
* Promotion of health and education around cardiovascular and respiratory rehabilitation.
* Continence, bowel, and pelvic health management.
* Manual tasks and transfers.
* Oedema management.
* Advocacy for Residents through supporting choice and mitigating risk processes.
* Training and education of staff and Residents.
* Quality monitoring practices and continuous improvement.
* Support from a team of Senior Clinicians providing opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Essential Requirements
* Physiotherapy qualification and AHPRA registration.
* Full Australian working rights and ability to pass national police clearance.
* Valid driver's licence.
