Our client is a growing Australian-owned water and wastewater treatment specialist delivering complex, engineered solutions across municipal, industrial, infrastructure and resource sectors.
The business designs and delivers bespoke water and wastewater treatment projects, typically ranging from $5m–$15m+, supported by in-house engineering and turnkey project delivery capability.
Projects include municipal wastewater treatment, PFAS remediation, landfill leachate, industrial wastewater and complex process water applications, utilising technologies across biological treatment, membranes, filtration, chemical treatment and solids handling.
Position Summary
An opportunity exists for a Project Manager (Wastewater Treatment) based in Sydney to lead the delivery of complex D&C water and wastewater treatment projects across Australia.
You will manage projects from design through to commissioning, working closely with internal engineering teams, suppliers, contractors and clients.
The role is based from the Sutherland Shire office, with travel to project sites as required.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead delivery of complex water and wastewater treatment projects ($5m–$15m+)
* Manage project scope, budgets, schedules and commercial performance
* Oversee engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation and commissioning
* Coordinate process, mechanical, electrical and automation teams
* Manage suppliers, subcontractors and client relationships
* Administer contracts, variations and project reporting
* Identify risks and ensure safe, successful project delivery
Required Experience
* Engineering qualification (Chemical, Mechanical, Civil or related)
* Experience delivering water, wastewater or process engineering projects
* Exposure to D&C, EPC or turnkey project environments
* Ability to manage multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams
* Strong commercial, communication and stakeholder management skills
