We are seeking a highly skilled Cisco Telephony & Network Engineer to design, implement, support, and optimise enterprise voice and unified communications environments. This role combines both BAU operations and project delivery within a large-scale Core Network environment. You will play a critical role in maintaining the availability, performance, and scalability of Cisco telephony, collaboration, and network systems across a complex enterprise landscape. This is a fast-paced environment where you’ll be required to manage multiple workstreams, adapt quickly, and contribute to both operational excellence and ongoing transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, administer, and support enterprise Cisco Unified Communications (UC) and VoIP systems Manage and maintain Cisco voice platforms, including Contact Centre environments, call routing, dial plans, and user provisioning Perform system upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management across voice and network infrastructure Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve voice quality, routing, codec, and network connectivity issues using tools such as RTMT, Cisco DNA/Catalyst Centre, and packet capture analysis Maintain accurate documentation of telephony configurations, dial plans, call flows, and core network architecture Support incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvement initiatives Collaborate across infrastructure and project teams to deliver network and UC-related initiatives Skills & Experience Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Collaboration platforms, including: CUCM (Cisco Unified Communications Manager) Cisco Unity Connection (CUC) UCCX/UCCE Contact Centre Webex Calling Proven experience managing: Dial plans, SIP trunks, and call routing Voice gateways (CUBE/MGCP) Solid experience across Cisco networking technologies, including: Catalyst switching VXLAN EVPN fabric Cisco Wireless (Catalyst/Meraki) Experience with Cisco licensing models (Flex, UCL) and subscription management Exposure to migration projects (on-prem CUCM to Webex Calling/cloud) highly desirable Strong troubleshooting capability across both voice and network layers Cisco Networking Knowledge VXLAN EVPN fabric design and operations (Cisco Nexus) VLAN segmentation and Zero-Trust architecture principles QoS design and implementation for voice and video traffic Cisco Wireless LAN administration and optimisation (Catalyst Centre / Meraki) Strong understanding of SIP, RTP, and SRTP protocols Catalyst switching including spanning tree, port channels, and Layer 3 routing About You Able to thrive in a fast-paced enterprise environment Comfortable managing multiple priorities across BAU and project work Strong communicator with a proactive, problem-solving mindset Passionate about delivering high-quality, resilient network and voice solutions Why Apply?
