Job Overview
Boeing Defence Australia is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) for the P-8A Poseidon program at RAAF Base Edinburgh. As an AME you will be hands‑on with maintenance, modifications, servicing, inspections, testing and fault‑finding on aircraft systems.
Responsibilities
* Collaborating with the MRO team to ensure efficient task completion
* Ensuring compliance within the DASR Part 145 Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) regulations
* Fostering effective communication and coordination with Boeing, customers, and industry teams
* Ensuring quality assurance procedures, aircraft maintenance/modification operating procedures, and meticulous documentation practices
* Embracing a positive attitude towards environmental health & safety, prioritizing the well‑being of all personnel
Qualifications
* Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Avionics)
* Australian citizen to meet Defence security requirements
* Current driver's licence
Desirable
* Previous experience with military aircraft
* CASA or DASA maintenance licence
