JOOLA is looking for a Sales and Partnerships Manager to join our Australia Pacific team, based in Brisbane. The role will be responsible for driving the growth of JOOLA's Pickleball business in Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands with a focus on sales growth, customer acquisition, channel development, and strategic partnerships.

Pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports globally, and this role will play an important part in helping us build the category locally. This is not a traditional desk-based sales role. You will be out in the market, meeting customers, developing partnerships, attending events, running demos, and helping turn interest in the sport into sustainable commercial growth.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Growth and Business Development

* Drive sales growth for JOOLA's Pickleball business
* Identify and develop new business opportunities across relevant customer segments
* Generate and qualify leads through outreach, networking, referrals, events, partnerships, and market activity
* Build and manage a sales pipeline, from prospecting through to closing and account growth

Customer and Channel Development

* Build relationships with retailers, distributors, clubs, coaches, facilities, schools, associations, and community groups
* Act as the main point of contact for customer enquiries, follow-ups, and commercial discussions
* Develop new accounts while strengthening relationships with existing customers
* Identify opportunities to expand JOOLA's distribution and market reach

Partnerships and Ecosystem Development

* Identify and develop partnerships that support JOOLA's growth
* Work with clubs, academies, coaches, sports facilities, schools, associations, tournament organisers, retailers, distributors, and other relevant partners
* Build partnerships that support market access, brand visibility, product trial, community adoption, and sales conversion
* Convert partnership activity into measurable commercial and market development outcomes

Market Development and Community Engagement

* Support the growth of Pickleball through events, tournaments, demos, trial sessions, and grassroots activations
* Travel to customer meetings, partner meetings, Pickleball events, tournaments, clubs, and community activities
* Represent JOOLA professionally at events, trade shows, activations, and product demonstrations
* Build JOOLA's visibility and credibility within the Pickleball ecosystem

Product Demonstration and Customer Education

* Develop strong knowledge of JOOLA's Pickleball product range, including features, specifications, benefits, and positioning
* Provide product demonstrations and recommendations to customers based on their needs, skill level, playing style, and preferences
* Communicate JOOLA's product value clearly to retailers, clubs, coaches, players, partners, and community stakeholders
* Gather customer and partner feedback to support sales, marketing, and product decisions

Commercial Execution and Reporting

* Track sales activity, customer follow-ups, partnership pipeline, market feedback, and business risks
* Provide regular updates on sales performance, pipeline progress, market insights, and competitor activity
* Work closely with Australia Pacific, APAC, and Global teams across sales, marketing, supply, and product
* Support smooth order fulfilment, customer service follow-up, and commercial execution

Candidate Requirements

* Strong experience in sales, business development, partnerships, account management, or commercial roles.
* A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Strong relationship-building skills and confidence engaging customers, partners, clubs, retailers, coaches, associations, and community stakeholders.
* Experience identifying and developing partnerships that create commercial or market development outcomes.
* Comfort with hands-on product demonstrations, events, and market activations.
* Good commercial discipline, including prospecting, pipeline management, follow-up, negotiation, and closing.
* Interest in sport, with experience in sporting goods, retail, distribution, racquet sports, or Pickleball being an advantage.
* Willingness to travel within Australia Pacific region for customer meetings, partner meetings, events, and tournaments.
