General Practitioner – Gilgandra Local Aboriginal Medical Service (GLAMS)
About the Role: Working in a fully bulk-billing clinic, you will play a vital role in a multidisciplinary team that supports patients across all life stages—from pregnancy and early childhood through to chronic disease management, geriatrics, and palliative care.
Supported By: Experienced Nurses, Aboriginal Health Workers, Friendly Administration Staff, And An Onsite Management Team, You’ll Also Benefit From Visiting Allied Health And Specialist Services Including:
- Dietitian, Podiatrist, Pharmacist, Audiologist, Optometrist
- Cardiologist, Diabetic Educator, Women’s Health specialist
- Access to regular Telehealth clinics
Clinic Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (No weekend or after-hours shifts)
Patient Load: 15–20 patients per day

Essential Criteria:
- Vocational Registration (FRACGP, FACRRM or equivalent)
- AHPRA registration (General or Specialist)
- Appropriate Medical Indemnity Insurance
- Class C Driver’s Licence
- National Police Check (within 3 months) and Working with Children Check
- Proof of vaccination and right to work in Australia (no visa sponsorship available)
Desirable:
- Experience in Aboriginal health or rural general practice
- Familiarity with Best Practice software and My Health Record (training available)
