Job Summary
The Security Officer reports directly to the Security Supervisor and is responsible for providing a welcoming, friendly and safe environment for all employees, visitors and patrons of The Star Sydney.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with the Surveillance team to proactively identify and report illegal & undesirable behaviour
* Perform comprehensive entry point vetting and duties at hotel, retail, bars, and event security areas
* Monitor and assist with Responsible Services of Alcohol
* Provide outstanding guest service as part of responsible gaming
Qualifications
* Background in Law Enforcement or Defence advantageous
* NSW SLED 1A Security Licence
* NSW RSA and RCG Competency Cards and First Aid accreditation (or willing to obtain)
* Flexibility to work 8‐12 hour shifts across a rotating roster essential
* Excellent communication skills, with a positive and professional attitude
