Role Overview

We are seeking a Corporate Affairs Advisor to join our INPEX Corporate Affairs team in Darwin on a 14‐month maximum term contract. Join us in helping shape a brighter energy future.

The successful candidate will undertake external engagement and corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities in Darwin and the broader Northern Territory contributing to INPEX Australia objectives.

Key Responsibilities

* Undertake community sponsorship activities including monitoring the sponsorship mailbox, assessing requests, coordinating internal reviews, supporting implementation and ensuring timely reporting.
* Support community partnership delivery through maintaining relationships and coordinating engagement activities.
* Assist in implementation of the Consultation Manager to support recording of stakeholder engagement activities within CSR team.
* Support Diversity & Inclusion initiatives.
* Support employee and contractor engagement activities.
* Build and maintain strong and positive relationships with external stakeholders including community groups, industry partners and local organisations through regular and proactive engagement.
* Support planning and delivery of internal and community INPEX‐led events and initiatives.
* Attend external events and functions as an INPEX representative.
* Support internal and external communication activities including content planning and development, coordinating photo and video shoots with vendors.
* Support the development of content for the NT Education Centre.
* Support enhanced internal and external communication efforts for community investment and engagement programs.
* Work collaboratively within the NT Corporate, Corporate Affairs teams and across the INPEX organisation contributing to a high-performing environment.

Qualifications

* Demonstrated experience in not-for-profit sector, community organisations, external engagement and event coordination.
* Ability to effectively manage time, in situations with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
* Confidence and ability to liaise with external stakeholders including community organisations, contractors and vendors in a professional manner.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including ability to build relationships across all levels of an organisation and externally.
* Demonstrate and encourage empathetic teamwork as a member of a culturally diverse organisation.
* High attention to detail including accurate record keeping and reports management.
* Highly computer literate, with strong Microsoft Office skills.
* Current valid driver's licence.

Location

This role is for applicants residing in or willing to relocate to Darwin.
