Our client, a leading Financial Service Organisation are currently looking for a Senior Bookings Associate with Domestic / International equities and ETO ex.
Reporting to the operations manager, the successful candidate will have the following:
* Strong Knowledge of the Booking, Clearing and Settlement cycle
* Servicing Australian (Retail & Institutional Bookings) and International Equities and managing the bookings and collateral lodgement & withdrawal for ETO transactions.
* Review dispatch of daily contract notes and trading statements to ensure compliance with ASX rule requirements.
* Managing ETO collateral movements within ASX rule requirements.
* Resolving any complex or escalated issues regarding trade bookings and exceptions.
* Sounds knowledge of ASIC Market Integrity Rules and ability to make judgements on trading matters relating to Bookings based on interpretation of these rules
* Highly organised and sound management skills
* High-level written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with people at all levels within the organisation
* Ability to work as a team in a highly demanding role
* Provide training to staff including cross training of all team members to always ensure coverage for team leave.
* Excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills allied to practical judgement
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
* Ability to work to deadlines

The client is keen to meet with individuals who are currently leading a team or have aspirations of a leadership role in the next 12 months. 5+ years' experience in a trade booking role. Exposure to trade bookings systems is essential, this includes IRESS (IOS, ETCs), OMGEO and back-office systems such as GBST, iBroker, SUMMIT and a strong Understanding of the ASX and CHESS rules and requirements.
