About the Role
Production-based opportunities in a market‑leading food manufacturing setting. Shift work across a 7‑day roster inclusive of day / afternoon / night shifts. Location: Devonport, commencing November 2025.
Responsibilities
* Inspect incoming raw material
* Operate fixed plant processing and high‑speed packaging equipment safely
* Clean and sanitize production lines
* Accurately complete daily shift logs and system entries
* Forklift operations (for licensed candidates)
* Adhere to GMP and food safety practices
* Contribute to continuous improvement (CI) processes
Additional forklift duties (if licensed):
* Transport finished goods between areas
* Use fork‑mounted RF systems and radio communications
* Operate within cold store/freezer
* Perform pre‑start checks
* Refuel and service fuel‑powered forklifts and charge electric forklift batteries
Qualifications & Skills
* 100 % commitment to safety
* Willingness to work a variety of 8‑hour shifts across a 7‑day roster
* Current forklift licence with experience (mandatory for forklift duties)
* Ability to follow standard operating procedures
* Manufacturing or mechanical background advantageous
* High attention to detail
* Strong written and verbal communication; time‑management skills
* Team player with positive communication
* Positive aptitude testing
* Willingness to undertake pre‑employment medical assessment (drug & alcohol screening)
