**About the facility**

**About the role**
The Clinical Research Assistant will be part of a team working at Barwon Health and the Southwest catchment areas to ensure patients with hip dysplasia are enrolled into the State-wide Registry for Developmental Dysplasia of the hip (VicHip).
The Clinical Research Assistant will be part of a group of assistants working at other study sites and would work collaboratively with the other members to develop a dynamic, responsive team who are central to the success of the registry.
Initially the role would involve coordinating the setting up of the registry database at Barwon Health and establishing professional networking with the other study sites. Once established the role would entail the recruitment and data collection into the registry for Barwon Health patients, and coordination of data sharing across the registry network.
The role would require close working relationship with Medical and Physiotherapy Clinicians, and also interaction with children, families and community support professionals.
