The Safety Business Partner plays a crucial role in ensuring a safe working environment within our manufacturing and production facilities in Brisbane and other locations across Australia. This position is responsible for developing and implementing safety policies and procedures, fostering a culture of safety, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Responsibilities
* Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in line with industry standards and regulations.
* Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
* Provide training and support to employees on safety practices and emergency procedures.
* Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
* Investigate incidents and accidents, preparing detailed reports and recommendations for improvement.
* Monitor and analyse safety performance metrics, providing insights for continuous improvement.
* Act as a point of contact for safety-related queries and concerns within the organisation.
Qualifications
* Associate degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
* Proven experience in a safety role within the manufacturing or production industry.
* Robust knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Certifications in safety management or related fields are advantageous.
