Role Description
This is a contract, hybrid role for an Occupational Therapist, with work based in Victor Harbor, SA, and flexible opportunities for work-from-home arrangements. The Occupational Therapist will assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans for children, focusing on improving their skills in motor development, sensory processing, and daily living activities. Collaborating with families, caregivers, and other professionals, the role involves delivering therapy sessions, providing guidance, and ensuring holistic care tailored to the unique needs of each child. Additionally, the role requires accurate documentation and contribution to multidisciplinary team discussions.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation practices.
* Knowledge of Pediatrics and a passion for working with children in a therapeutic context.
* Strong Communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and other healthcare professionals.
* Understanding of medical concepts and ability to integrate these into therapy strategies.
* Commitment to evidence-based practices and continuous professional development.
* Relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy and registration with an appropriate professional body.
* Experience in working in a hybrid environment and maintaining accountability for in-person and remote care delivery.
