As an occupational therapist, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that works collaboratively to support children from birth to adolescence. Your caseload may include children with developmental, neurodevelopmental or general childhood presentations. You will deliver therapy in a bright clinic and work with families in homes, schools and community settings.
Key Responsibilities
* Prescribe equipment for clients to enhance their daily functioning.
* Utilize augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and other assistive technology to support clients' needs.
* Develop and implement group and community-based programs that promote social interaction and skill development.
* Provide parent coaching and education to empower caregivers to support their child's growth and development.
* Design and facilitate workshops and other professional development opportunities to enhance the skills of colleagues and improve client outcomes.

Position Requirements:
* Completion of a recognized degree in occupational therapy.
* Registration with AHPRA as an occupational therapist.
* Hold a Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening clearance.
* Possess a valid driver's license for community visits.
* Be eligible to work in Australia.
* Display a passion for working with children and families.
