Job Overview
The Intensive Education Case Manager works collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment to deliver effective case management and transition support for students at risk of disengagement from education.
About the Role
* Degree or higher in an appropriate field with relevant experience in education, social work or a related discipline
* Suitable skills, knowledge and competencies as defined by the NESA Standards for Teachers and/or Australian Institute of Teaching and School Leadership (AITSL)
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Able to establish partnerships with stakeholders, government and non-government organisations
* Facilitate coordination of individual student plans and transition plans
* Implement best practice case management and provide educational and behavioral intervention
* Awareness of child protection laws and procedures and the ability to implement them
Purpose of the Role
To improve student outcomes through effective engagement with students, parents/carers and the wider community, establishing partnerships with stakeholders, government and non-government organisations and ensuring that all actions are focused on achieving positive outcomes for students.
