Suitable applicants must be a person of Christian faith and integrity and align with the school'svalues and ethos and teach from a Christian Worldview a range of subjects as per the prescribed secondary school curriculum and promote the social, emotional, intellectual and physical development of their students, and to also meet the defined educational goals for their students.
About the Role
Teach Chemistry to senior students, including HSC classes.
Collaborate within a vibrant Science faculty.
Contribute to whole-school initiatives and uphold OAGS values.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience or willingness to teach across Years 7–12 Science.
Experience and/or ability to teach HSC Chemistry.
Be a dynamic and effective classroom practitioner.
Effective management strategies for students of differing abilities and levels of engagement
Thorough understanding of the learning process, including assessment and feedback.
Personally committed to learning and professional growth.
Strong work ethic and ICT competencies.
Genuine appreciation and commitment to pastoral care.
Participate in the School's co-curricular program.
Understand and adhere to Child Safeguarding policies and practices.
Contribute to continuous improvement of Child Safeguarding at OAGS.
