IT Desktop Support position available within SQS Group in all states. Work assignment may either be in NSW, QLD, SA, VIC, or WA.

In WA: WA Cutting Services, Boyd Metal Industries.
Responsibilities
* Provide 1st and 2nd level telephone and customer‐facing support for initial fault diagnosis.
* Create and delete new users across all internal systems.
* Set up all new mobile/tablet devices.
* Install, configure and maintain network devices, including PCs, printers, print servers, terminal servers, switches and application software.
* Perform hardware relocations and re‐configurations (e.g. PCs and telephones).
* Monitor and report on hardware, software and network resources to ensure high performance, security and integrity.
* Assist with administration and support of the local area network, servers and printing facilities.
* Work within strict time frames and elevate incidents within defined timeframes.
* Create, manage and support SOE builds for Desktop and Laptop PCs.
* Maintain a good working knowledge of current infrastructure and future trends.
Qualifications and Skills
* Experience in similar desktop support positions.
* Strong work ethic, safety focus, ability to work with minimal supervision, keen and enthusiastic approach, willingness to work overtime.
* Windows 7/10/11, Windows Server 2008/2012R2/2016/2019/2022, Active Directory (DNS, DHCP, etc.).
* Experience with Windows, iPhone, Android phones.
* Experience using a variety of PC software including Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Exchange, Windows servers and desktops, and anti‐virus software.
* Experience in security administration using Active Directory and group policy.
* Knowledge and understanding of end‐user requirements.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong customer service orientation.
* Professional, reliable and team‐orientated approach to work.
* Experience with Hyper‐V, VMware.
* Experience with remote software tools such as TeamViewer, LogMeIn.
* Good understanding of networking, TCP/IP and Wi‐Fi environments.
* Knowledge of Linux/UNIX is an advantage.
* Experience supporting HP SAN technology is an advantage.
* Experience with HP Server Products.
* Understanding of Agile and Kanban methodologies.

Salary: Between $75,000 and $80,000 per annum + Super.
