Job Title: Batch Plant Operator
We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Batch Plant Operator to join our team. This role plays a critical part in our business, ensuring customer expectations are met at all stages of our ordering and delivery processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Represent the company brand and provide excellent phone-based customer service.
* Take orders and finalise the sale of pre-mixed concrete for delivery.
* Batch concrete to specific mix designs via a computerised system.
* Use software packages to schedule rostering and truck movements for the region.
* Ensure Chain of Responsibility requirements are adhered to at all times.
* Order raw materials.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role is highly regarded.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
* Confident when working with computers.
* Previous experience in Command/Jonel batching systems is desired but not essential.
* Plant Operator (FEL preferred).
* Demonstrated ability to prioritise work effectively in an environment of constant change.
