Mallala Motorsport Park is seeking motivated Track and Grounds / Event Casuals to support the preparation, maintenance, and delivery of motorsport and driver training events at one of South Australia's most historic racing venues.
About the Role:
This is a hands-on and flexible opportunity to be involved in the day-to-day operations of a functioning motorsport facility, assisting with track preparation, grounds upkeep, event set-up, and logistical support across a wide range of motorsport and training events.
As a Track and Grounds / Event Casual, you will play an integral role in ensuring the smooth and professional delivery of track days, drift events, karting, club meets, and driver education programs. Your work will contribute directly to participant safety, customer satisfaction, and the overall presentation of the venue.
This role is ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for motorsport or event delivery. Flexibility is key, with weekend and weekday shifts available based on event scheduling.

Established in 1961 and proudly South Australian, Mallala Motorsport Park has hosted some of the nation's most iconic races — including the Australian Grand Prix and Touring Car Championship. Today, it remains a cornerstone of grassroots racing, driver training, and community motorsport.
What will you be responsible for?
* Assist in preparing and maintaining track and grounds for events
* Support set-up and pack-down of signage, barriers, flags, and equipment
* Provide assistance to event managers and operations staff on event days
* Conduct basic maintenance, cleaning, and groundskeeping tasks
* Carry out inspections to ensure track and facility safety standards
* Operate tools, vehicles, and equipment as directed
* Engage positively with event participants and visitors
* Ensure compliance with safety procedures and venue protocols
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A proactive, reliable, and flexible approach to casual work
* Willingness to work outdoors and in variable weather conditions
* Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment
* Physical fitness and stamina to complete manual tasks
* Experience in events, labouring, or motorsport (desirable but not required)
* Current Driver's Licence (mandatory)
* Current Police Clearance and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
