Senior Project Officer
The role involves working with First Nations people to maintain and improve Country on Cape York Peninsula. This position requires you to be out on Country, surrounded by nature, making a real impact every day.
This is not just an office job - you will be involved in various activities such as fire and weed management, constructing sheds and fences, and other land management projects.
As a Senior Project Officer, your responsibilities will include:
* Working within the Post Land Transfer Support Team to develop ideas, deliver and report on land management projects.
* Protecting the natural and cultural values on Aboriginal freehold land by delivering fire and weed management activities.
* Providing technical advice and support to stakeholders, including developing solutions to improve economic participation for First Nations people.
