About the Ngaanyatjarra Council
The Ngaanyatjarra Lands are managed by the Ngaanyatjarra Council Group (NCG), a wholly community‐led organisation representing the interests of Traditional Owners (Yarnangu) across 11 communities in the Central Desert region of Western Australia.
Established in 1981, NCG employs over 450 people and delivers essential services including health, utilities, construction, employment, community development, shops, roadhouses, art centres, and land services. We are one of Australia's largest and most successful Indigenous organisations.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive Construction Coordinator to support the planning and delivery of construction projects across our infrastructure portfolio. Working closely with the GM Infrastructure, supervisors, and trades, this role ensures projects are well‐coordinated, compliant, and delivered efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Support day‐to‐day coordination of construction projects, timelines, and deliverables.
* Assist in preparing scopes of work, BOQs, and project documentation.
* Coordinate procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
* Monitor project progress, track variations, and support budget oversight.
* Ensure alignment between scopes, quotes, and on‐site delivery.
* Maintain accurate records, schedules, and compliance documentation.
* Support WHS requirements and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
* Liaise with stakeholders and provide regular project updates.

You are organised, detail‐oriented, and thrive in a fast‐paced environment. You can coordinate multiple tasks, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and support project delivery from planning through to completion.
Skills and Experience
* Experience in construction, project coordination, or infrastructure environments.
* Ability to read and interpret plans, scopes, and technical documents.
* Strong organisational and time‐management skills.
* Experience with procurement, scheduling, or estimating desirable.
* Sound communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Understanding of WHS and compliance requirements.
* Willingness to travel to sites as required.
